Deaths hit 42,288 as Matt Hancock leads daily update – The Sun


MATT Hancock leads tonight’s daily update on coronavirus, and is expected to speak on the test and trace app and wonder drug dexamethasone.

Elsewhere, Greggs has reopened its doors today following weeks of closure due to the coronavirus lockdown.

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in England rose to 28,175 today after another 62 people died in hospitals.

The UK coronavirus death toll now stands at 42,288, according to the Department of Health.
